Blogpoll Draft: Settling In

20:02 Cholis Back 0 Comments

Last week's poll was put together bleary-eyed following Monday night's game. It was, at best, rushed, sloppy and hard to read (running with darker green in the breakdown this week, better?). Another week to digest and things still aren't much clearer. Cal really should be in the fourth spot, but Ole Miss, despite their very weak showing to start the season, didn't play so I'll hold off one more week on that. Ohio State drops but not too far since no one in the neighborhood really distinguished themselves this past week. I have a sneaking suspicion Cincinnati might be pretty damn good and marching up the ranks soon enough. As always, corrections, suggestions and objections are always welcome.

Games watched: Clemson/Georgia Tech, Colorado/Toledo, Syracuse/Penn State, Notre Dame/Michigan, South Carolina/Georgia, USC/Ohio State and Purdue/Oregon.

Last week's ballot

Dropped Out: Notre Dame (#17).

Moving Up:
Michigan - Could the RichRod second year bump be in effect?

Moving Down:
Oklahoma St. - The Big 12 "all offense/no defense" meme appears poised to continue another year. Down, but not below Georgia for obvious reasons.

Notre Dame - The Echoes hit the snooze bar.
